Great conversation starter

 

I saw these coasters and thought they would be something my son would like. He loves all things vintage, especially old vinyls. Though we don't need more coasters in our home, I thought these would make great decorations in his bedroom with all of his guitars and music stuff.   You get six different coasters in the package. There is no holder for it, so if you plan to use them as coasters you will not have anything to put them in. The listing says they come in a nice gift box, but that is the box for packaging, not a holder for them when they are not in use (unless you want the box they come in displayed on your table or shelf, too). They are made of vinyl, so don't expect them to soak up the sweat from your drinks. You may have no ring left on your table, but the liquid will pool on top and run off if you don't watch it. But they definitely make for a great conversation starter!   I picked them up thinking we could use them to decorate the walls or make something with them. I don't know if they can be strung together and dangled from something like the fan or light chains, or hung across the curtains. I may need to buy another set or two, once we decide what we are doing. I suggested that he put them up on the walls randomly, but he can't decide what he is going to do with them yet.
