Work great, but uncomfortable

In the package you get just the earbuds, no sets of replacement tips and no case to carry it all in. Luckily I have encouraged both of my boys to save the cases from previous sets of earbuds so that they have somewhere to put their earbuds when not in use and hopefully prolong their use for later. Both tend to toss them in their backpack when not hanging from their shirt, and we have had a few get broken this way.

These are definitely interesting in their design. They look awfully big. My 11 year old even said they look too big for his ears. He has always had trouble using earbuds and finding the perfect fit for his ears. He hasn't tried these to see if they fit, but said he isn't sure he even wants to because of the size and shape. My older son might like them though. But unlike the soft tip earbuds, these don't look like they will fit very easily in your ears. You have to sort of slide them in and perch them there rather than the earbuds molding to fit inside your ears. I didn't like the feel personally, but I don't like using earbuds at all.

The good thing about them is the material. They are made of metal, but don't have jagged edges or anything that will cut you. They don't leave behind fingerprints or show traces that you touched them, and they are definitely strong and well made.

We haven't put these in to action yet, but I tested them out myself before putting them away. I felt the sound quality was not bad and was clear with no interference or static. The noise isolation seemed to work fine I heard just the music I was listening to. I was impressed by how comfortable the fit was, and I can't stand wearing earbuds because they always make my ears sore.

We do not use earbuds for calls and I did not test it out by calling anyone, so can't say how the sound quality of a call is. My boys don't use their earbuds for calling others. They text. But they do use their earbuds for communicating on Xbox when playing games with friends. I needed the microphone for that reason.

If you are looking for a new set of earbuds, this appears to be a decent set to consider. Less than $15, which is what I pay when I buy them at Walmart.
