Works great

I originally picked this up for me so that I could put it in the outlet next to my computer. I have power strips under the desk to plug things in to but hate having to move the chair and crawl under to access them. I would rather have an extra plug next to me on the wall. But both plugs are taken. So I ordered this wall outlet to help me out by giving me two plugs in one, with the other below it. I thought it would be perfect. But my oldest decided that it was pretty cool and took it to his room before I could even plug it in. It has a cradle on the top that allows you to place your smartphone on it while it is charging. There are two USB plugs, as well. A few notes from their Amazon listing - it will protect your phone and devices that are plugged in while in use, but is not as strong in a thunderstorm, so be sure to unplug anything if the weather turns bad.  It also is designed in a manner that is compliant for use on cruise ships, but it does not have a folding plug on the back for easy transport. They say it is a quick charge for the USB ports but user experience is that it is not. I didn't get the chance to try that myself, but the boys haven't complained about the speed of charging since they have been using it in their room. I think I will pick up another outlet to put in the living room next to my desk like I had originally planned and hope the kids don't try to steal that one, too! Get yours here:
