It works!

So far, it works great!

The first night I was not sure it was going to light up since the paper in the box said it needed 8 hours of direct sunlight. I set it up outside in the early evening hours, like around 4 or 5pm, so I thought with so little sun time it would not light up. But to my surprise it did! It was not dimly lit either. It gave out a pretty good light. I will have to see if it gives off a brighter light with more solar time, but the first night I was pleasantly surprised.

Setting it up was a breeze. It was a good length for what I wanted to use it for. The wire is pretty sturdy in where I did not have to be too careful or delicate to wrap it around the wood panel. We have our washer and dryer outside an enclosed space between the back of our house and the garage. There is no outdoor light we can access from the inside, and while we do have a light outside for it, we still have to fumble in the dark to reach up and turn it on. So I though about winding some solar lights into the wood panels of the enclosure to help us see a little bit whenever we do have to go to the back for whatever reason. I was hoping to get a light strong enough where I would not need to use the overhead light and these fairy lights do give a nice output of light where I can just barely make out what is outside that I can move around and avoid things.

These lights are awesome! Makes me want to buy more but I will have to think about where I would want to put them first, lol.
