It uses ultrasonic technique to diffuse essential oil. In order to use it, you need to mix a few drops of oils in water. Depending upon the essential oil, you need to put 8-10 drops of essential oil in 500 ml water and the diffuser will diffuse the water/oil for about next 10-12 hours. I like how you can use this diffuser as a night light. You can also customize the color of your light according to your room decorum. You can control mist quantity/speed which is also a plus. It comes with a power adapter which needs 100v-240v which makes it usable everywhere. Its small size and light weight makes it highly portable so you can always keep it with you, whenever, you are on the go. In description, it says that it is a humidifier. Yes, it is a little humidifier but it generates very small amount of mist which is enough to spread just fragrance in the air. For a real humidifier, it is very small. It won’t increase any noticeable water level in the air if being used in a hall room.
