Great price for the number of refills

Coloring is a great stress reliever. It's also a great way for me to stay focused whenever I have to sit and pay attention. I used to use coloring pencils to color with until I discovered gel pens. Using gel pens is so much easier than crayons and colored pencils. They never need sharpened and the tips never dull. It's just a more consistent experience every time I color. The only downside to gel pens is having to replace a pen when the ink runs dry.

I have a nice case of gel pens. 100 different pens all in a matching set. My original case came with a set of refills for every pen but I hadn't been able to find additional refills without buying a whole new set. I like to reuse items whenever I can, so buying a whole new set when I didn't really need the outer part of the pens seemed wasteful. Then I tripped over these refills. Not only are they a standard size refill that will fit just about every pen out there, but they also appear to be a close match to the pen colors I already have. The color breakdown is in the refills is 28 Glitter, 17 Metallic, 16 Neon, 15 Pastel, 14 Glitter-Neon, 6 Swirl, 4 Classic. My current pen breakdown is 28 Glitter, 18 Metallic, 16 Neon, 15 Pastel, 14 Fluorescent, 6 Rainbow, 3 Standard. The Swirl and Rainbows are just different names for the same style, and I think the fluorescent and the Glitter-Neon are going to be the same. I just have one less metallic and one more standard than in my original set. Considering that these are two different brands, I'm REALLY impressed. My only complaint is that the refills themselves aren't marked with a type/color designation. This means I'm going to have to sit there and try to eyeball a color match when I need a refill. This isn't a dealbreaker, just an annoyance to someone who really has some control issues.

These come shipped with end caps to keep the colors from drying out, but just packaged in a plastic bag. I like the reduced aspect of the shipping. I have a designated area at home for my coloring supplies, and I won't be refilling the pens when I'm out of my home, so I don't have to worry about the minimal packaging not protecting the refills.
