My old wifi adapter was giving me slow speeds after using it for a few years. So I decided to get a new one and got this one. I was getting less than 1mbps on my old stick when it started to fail, when I put this in and connected to wifi, I was able to get 40mbps which is great. I noticed the speed increase right away and I was back to normal on my laptop.
I would recommend this to anyone that needs a new wifi adapter.
