Perfect for getting those good stretches

I have been trying to do more at home exercises lately and have seen a ton of videos showing how to improve your workouts with resistance bands. I was intrigued and wanted to try them. I am very puny right now, having really gotten out of shape, so need to take it slow. But I am adding some resistance in to make it feel like the work I have been doing is actually more intense.   There are six different resistance bands in this set. They are two different lengths. And each band is a different weight level. Here is the chart from their Amazon listing showing you each band.
 

Yellow [500L*50W*0.5H mm]:10-15 lbs.
Red    [500L*50W*0.7H mm]:20-35 lbs.
Green [500L*50W*1H mm]:   40-60 lbs.

Red   [600L*50W*0.7H mm]: 20-30 lbs.
Blue  [600L*50W*0.9H mm]: 30-45 lbs.
Black [600L*50W*1.2H mm]: 50-70 lbs.

The bands are made of latex and are harmless to use (unless you have some kind of latex allergy). I saw that they of different thicknesses, as shown above, and they definitely make stretching and resistance training more difficult depending upon which you use.   My goal is to be able to use these for stretching when I begin doing yoga. I keep having people tell me how good yoga would be for my back issues, but I know I can't stretch well. I am hoping to be able to use these to help pull myself in to the poses and help hold them. Since I have not yet started, I can't say if they will work for that purpose, but I plan to try. If not, I will use them for resistance on the leg lifts and arm work I am doing.    They also come with a bag to carry them in. I was a bit surprised at how small the entire set up was, but appreciate the size now since they don't take up a lot of room.
