gloves with light up fingers

The second my daughter saw these gloves, she wanted them! She is seven so these gloves are quite big on her. They are more adult sized even though it states kids and children in the product description. The gloves are black and white in color. They are very soft and made from a cotton polyester material with a white nylon liner. There is a small pocket at the wrist that holds the battery compartment with a velcro closure for access to allow for battery changes. The gloves do come with a four count package of extra CR2016 batteries which was a big plus. The velcro was not properly sewn in which caused it to stick up leaving a sharp, pointed end that pokes into my wrist and is quite painful. I think I should be able to just use my scissors to trim the point off of the velcro to make it more comfortable.

The lights have three different colors and six different modes. The colors are red, green and blue. You switch between the modes by clicking the hidden buttons at the wrist. With the first click, all of the colors together rapidly flashing at once. With the second click, the colors slowly light up individually in a fade pattern. With the third click, all the colors are steady on. With the last three modes, each individual color flashes on its own so with the fourth click, only the red light flashes then with a fifth click, only the green light flashes and the sixth click, only the blue light flashes. I do wish that they had included some type of instructions on how to wash these in the event that they become soiled. I will email the seller and hopefully, they will share the washing instructions in the future for other consumers.

My daughter plans to wear these gloves while we go trick-or-treating on Halloween for added visibility when it gets dark. She also has already planned to pack these to wear during our trip to Disney at Christmas. She really loves these gloves!

*The first pair we received stop working properly so I emailed the seller and let them know. They quickly responded and shipped out another pair immediately. Their customer service is top notch! Our new set has been working just fine since we received them.
