I have four dogs and four cats in my house so it’s almost impossible to get rid of fleas. We’ll get rid of them for awhile and then the pesky critters manage to always find their way back in, especially since I live in the South in a very warm and humid climate. This sticky flea trap is meant to catch fleas (and potentially other bugs!!!) and hold them on a sticky pad so that they can’t get away.

The trap is relatively small and doesn’t take up much space. It’s circular and comes with 5 (!!!) sticky pads to use in the center of it to catch the fleas. It also comes with the lightbulb and a cord so you can plug it up. The light acts as a mechanism to attract the fleas/other bugs into the trap so they’ll get stuck. It’s incredibly easy to assemble and after you’re done, all you have to do is wait for bugs to get caught and change the circular sticky pad once it’s full.

I gave it the rating I did because it’s been a few days and so far it hasn’t caught anything but some flea dirt/eggs, but I have a friend who has had great success with this trap. It could just be that it’s really cold here and we don’t have that many fleas on our animals since we just used flea medicine on them. I’ll update this review if it catches anything.

Overall this is a simple and effective way to help control the spreading of fleas and it’s very easy to use. I highly recommend this if you have pets.

Pro tip: Put it somewhere where your pets can’t play with it because one of my dumb cats definitely thought it was a toy. Bless it.
