So far so good with this leash. I haven't had it very long, but as far as I can tell so far it is a good leash. I don't have any complaints so far. The last leash I had did not have any problems for about a year, so I can't say it doesn't have any of the same problems as of yet. It locks fast and secure as soon as I press the button, and I am not scared that it will release when my 80 pound dog pulls really hard.
