STRIPED WOMEN’S HALTER TANKINI WITH BOY SHORTS

~ What ~
Made of 86% Polyester and 14% Spandex, this women’s 1-piece bathing suit comes in five sizes of Small to XX Large in navy blue. The garment has a blue and white striped bodice halter top with the skirt in solid dark blue and attached boy shorts. The top has padded breast cups and with 2 straps to tie. No cleaning instructions are online, but its tag states it can be machine washed and should be air dried.

~ Why ~
I like the design and cut on this suit. It covers the body well even though it is considered a tankini swimsuit with boy-shorts. The neckline has a white tie and an empire waistline with a cut-out at the middle of the breastplate while the skirt ends at the thigh area. I like that the back is cut low, but there are addition ties that can be adjusted at the middle of the back. The shorts go a few inches below the crotch area and are shorter than the skirt. The Size Medium was acceptable on my Size 8 frame once I adjusted the shoulder straps and tied the back tighter.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like the amount of fabric used in the skirt and its length, but it does hide any bulges around the waistline well. Others might not like the shorts due to their length. Since the suit is one unit, the pants are sewn in, which some buyers may not realize.

~ Wish ~
It would be nice if more information were online for the deciding buyer, especially mentioning that it is not 2 pieces but one. The two ties could be an inch or two longer to make tying easier.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a modest 1-piece bathing suit that covers the body nicely yet is attractive, this is a great choice.
