Adss a little wight and bulk to your phone, but survived a fall already that would have killed my phone without it.

It adds a lot more bulk to my phone than I was expecting though. I guess I've just gotten use to the slim cases, but I understand the design of this one, because its made with dual layers that will actually protect my phone/screen from shattering when I drop it, rather than it's only function be for esthetic appeal. So it will take some time getting use to holding my phone differently, since the S8+ isn't exactly a small phone to begin with, and I have tiny hands. But I'm willing to re-adjust some things to make sure my new phone doesn't meet the same fate as my S8. I barely had it a week & forgot it was in my lap in the car. So when I stood up to get out, it fell (not even screen side down) onto the pavement and shattered my entire screen and wouldn't even turn on. :( I've never broken a phone before, but it seemed like a LOT more damage than it should have done from only a 2 foot drop onto its back. But this case feels durable and very protective though.
