Great for the pool

 

I saw someone else with bags like this not too long ago and thought it might be a good way to easily carry our phones around when we are doing things. I like the idea of having some way to keep it around my neck instead of having to fish it out of my bag or pocket. But I had no clue they would come in handy for the activities in our own backyard. My oldest took one of these and tested it with an old phone just to be sure it was waterproof before he tried it out with his own phone in the pool. Since then he has used it a lot for getting pictures of himself under water and doing pool tricks with his friends and brother.   In this set you get two bags that are both clear and waterproof. They have a lanyard to attach to it, as well as a wrist strap that attaches to the back. I was a bit unhappy with the lanyard itself, though. The ribbon is quite thin and the plastic that it attaches with is cheaper, so it won't take much to break it. The wrist strap is much stronger, being nice and wide with heavy duty velcro that secures it nicely. But it is bulky and clunky to use the phone when it is strapped on.   The top of each bag has little flip switches that allow you to open and close it, securing the top of the bag nicely. It seals things and keeps your phone from getting wet on the inside, while still allowing you to see the phone and use the buttons on it to take pictures and videos. My son had no trouble using his phone and continuing to text his girlfriend while he was in the pool and his phone was safe and protected the entire time. I was actually quite impressed with how well it worked for him.   Since the Fourth of July is just a few days out and we will be spending most of the afternoon and evening in the pool, this is a great investment for my family. Having two bags is nice since both of my boys can capture things easily and I don't have to worry about them ruining their phones.
