This OENEW Single and Double Camping Hammock is my first hammock of any type, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems pretty nice to me.  At first I was hesitant to pull it out of the pouch because we still have snow on the ground outside, so I can't hang it right now.  And so I was worried it would be hard to get back in to the pouch once taken out.  But I realized the listing says that it comes with hanging straps and I couldn't figure out how hanging straps would fit inside that pouch, so I took it all out to see just to verify that there were straps in there.  And I found the hammock with 2 carabiners attached at the ends, and the hanging straps.  Just as described.

Turns out the straps are pretty thin and flimsy looking, though.  Again, I've never owned a hammock, so maybe these are fine.  I got a deal on some hammock straps last year and have them stored in my shed because I had been shopping around for a hammock, so I'll probably use those.  Those are a lot wider, thicker, and more heavy duty.  Of course the bigger straps won't fit in the pouch, so I guess the thinner straps are what you'd want if you're hiking and need to keep everything as lightweight as possible.  As for me, I'm not sure I trust the thin straps to hold me up.  The included carabiners seem small, but feel heavy-duty.

I'm not sure it seems wide enough for two people, so I looked around at the measurements of some other hammocks and the double ones usually are at least 6 feet wide.  This one is about 4 1/2 feet wide.  I wasn't planning on using it as a double hammock, myself, so didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the dimensions.  I just figured since I'm a bigger gal, I'd go for a bigger hammock.   But an FYI for those who want a hammock that can truly fit two people comfortably- just pay attention to the measurements.

It's funny that I was worried about getting it all back in to the pouch once taken out, because it was a piece of cake getting it back in.  The pouch turns inside out and hangs from the side when it's opened up, and you simply start stuffing it in until it's all in there.  No problem.  And the whole thing weighs only 3 ounces, with the included straps.  So won't add a lot of weight to your backpack.

If we hadn't just had another winter storm, I'd be out there, trying to hang it because I'm excited to try it out!  I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the flimsy straps and the fact that it's advertised as double hammock and is more the width of a single. But it still seems like a nice hammock and I am definitely going to be out there once the snow melts, hanging it up so I can use it!
