This is a single earbud. I use this earbud for streaming music while I'm working and I can do errands all over the house without carrying my phone all over the place or tangling myself up in cords. The sound quality is much better than expected, and the piece turns on/off and disconnects/connects to bluetooth with a slightly accented recorded voice, a la Alexa. The only time the blutooth disconnected for me was when I left my phone inside in the kitchen then tried working in the yard while listening to the soundtrack of 80s hit movie Footloose. Unsurprising that the sync was unable to maintain connection through a brick exterior wall and drywall.
The earbud charges with a basic micro USB cable.
Overall I'm quite pleased with this purchase.
