Great Sound

Last year I got the baby a set of toddler musical instruments. My boys ended up playing with them as much as she did. I then got my nephew a set for Christmas, which included a mini tambourine. Again, the kids played with them. So when I saw this tambourine, I thought maybe it might be worth buying for my music loving family. So now we have a tambourine to go with the various other instruments we have, and can add some rhythm to the mix when playing something. It is a decent tambourine. It has good sound when you shake it or tap it. It has a finger hole on the side so that you can grip it better. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it. I don't know why the only review on Amazon is not the most positive saying that the tambourine is cheap and papery. I don't see that. I feel it is quite sturdy, making the drum sound nice and hollow when you hit it. I like the sound it gives. And so far it is holding up nicely, though it hasn't gotten a huge amount of use. It withstood the baby messing with it, though so that should tell you it is strong and durable. I am pleased with this tambourine and see no reason why it shouldn't be purchased by another music lover.
