Nice hose, cheap shower head

If you want a good quality shower head I'm not sure this is the one for you to get.

The shower head, shower bracket, and hose arrived in a plain brown box, no branding or anything on it so that tells you straight away that costs are being kept down. On packaging that can be fine as long as the cost cutting hasn't carried through to the product itself. Unfortunately on this occasion, it has.

The hose provided with this shower head is great, a proper metal one that is very well made, unlike some of the plastic ones that come with shower heads these days. It's because of this that it's so surprising that the quality of the shower head itself is so low. It is extremely light and the plastic feels flimsy and really quite cheap, the sort you might expect to find in a really cheap B&B. The water flow through it is OK but unfortunately it's just not nice to use, I've gone back to using my old shower head with the new metal hose. 

So in summary, would I recommend you buy this? Unfortunately no. If you want a better shower hose and this is cheaper than a hose alone, then yes go for it, otherwise don't bother.
