Great cable

We never seem to have enough cables on hand in our home, and my husband has told me to keep my eyes open for type C cables to review for him since he is now in need of more. But I picked up one of these up for the boys. They have been raiding my cables lately, so I knew the ones they had in their room have died. It was time for more. I am thinking I may need another, though, since I only got one.

This is a blue colored shielded micro usb cable. I prefer braided cables over the plastic or rubberish shieldings because they don't crack or split like the others. But I am hoping these work for the boys and we don't have cracking or splitting. They seem to be well made.

The ends fit well in the boys' phones, too. So far they have gone in with no wiggling or falling out. The connection is secure and immediate. I see their phones immediately connect and begin charging as soon as I plug them in.

I haven't used them for transferring of files or information, though, only for charging. So I can't say for sure whether they are quick at transferring things or not. I did not buy them for that reason. Well, not quite true. I did buy them the cables to the boys to use, not knowing if they would need them for transfer. Typically they use their cables to charge their phones and for nothing more.

Regardless, these are great cables. I love the velcro that is attached and allows you to coil them up to keep them from getting messy. I dbout the boys will use the velcro since they needed them for charging, but they have them in case they do decide to coil things up.
