With black hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, it has an analog quartz mechanism that houses 1 AA battery (not included). Instructions and a hanging hook are included, and minimal assembly is required.

~ Why ~
What I like most about this classic clock is that I can read the numbers and see the hands from a distance when we are in our hottub in our screened-in porch. I like that there is a second hand included and that it runs by battery, without using any electricity or wires to plug in. Another nice feature is that there is a fold-out stand on the back, so it can stand alone on a table or flat surface.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not like stark classic wall clocks will not need or want this product. Others may not appreciate the design pattern.

~ Wish ~
For the price, it would be ideal if the battery was included in the box.

If you are looking for a simple wall clock that runs on 1 AA battery, this item will make a clean timely statement in a room.
