Love these

Wow, so glad these are finally available! I've always maintained that plastic bags, while convenient, are going to be awful for the environment in the long run, as you tend to throw them away after one use! I saw a chef friend of mine yeaaaars ago use these in his own kitchen, but when I looked for them I couldn't find them for sale anywhere! I snapped these up as soon as I saw them, and they work perfectly! I like how much air you can get out the bags before sealing them. I also like the measurements on the back of these bags because there are times when I don't use all of one ingredient so I'll freeze it, now I'll know exactly how much of that ingredient I have when it's time to make a different recipe. This will help me cut down on waste. I would say these bags are probably the equivalent to a quart size Ziploc bag - the standard sandwich-sized bag you store liquids in your carry-on when you fly. I don't think these can be used for that on a plane as they aren't clear - but I'm very happy using these daily for food and then only buying disposables for planes and *extremely messy* food you dont want to have to wash the bag out after.
