Smart solar panel controller

This solar panel controller combines a solar charger circuit (up to 10 amp input), with an automatic regulator, to avoid overcharging battery pack. It adjusts according to ambient temperature. It handles 12 or 24 volts and includes short circuit and overload protection. It has an LED screen that displays input current from the solar panel, battery voltage, output current, ambient temperature (in Celcius) and day/night display modes (dependent on ambient light). It also includes 2 USB power connectors (for charging phones, etc) and 2 12V DC barrel-type connectors for powering 12V devices, 12V pigtails included.

We have had solar power in our outbuilding and storm shelter for several years. However, our current controller has only 3 led lights, indicating charging, output, battery. This new controller was about the same cost as our old one and has a host of new features including a fully digital readout.It also has a power switch, to control the output of the device, a big improvement over our original controller. Obviously the technology has improved since our original purchase and this new controller will be taking the place of our old original one. 

We are very happy with the new device and it is a big improvement over our current controller.
