First, this tea has a very smooth taste to it. WOW! No bitter taste at all. SO smooth tasting it makes me think I've never had a truly good cup of tea before.
The tea arrives in bundt cake shape and is packed so solid that I truly had no idea how to get the leaves and actually MAKE a cup of tea. (yeah, yeah, yeah you've caught me I've been a lipton teabag girl forever) After a quick search (thanks to the video on the Yan Hou Tang site) I learned that you just pick off the cake. It's super easy I used a sharp fork and was able to get get enough tea leaves to brew. The leaves actually come off so easily (however you can not just break off a piece with your hands! I tried!)
The tea tastes heavenly even without adding any sweetners at all.
