Very Sturdy Travel Mug

I don’t know about all of you, but some mornings, my spouse and I just need some coffee before we head off to work. Sometimes we just pick up our coffee on the way, but sometimes we really want some coffee before we even leave the house. However, we moved a few months ago and we were currently decent thermos free. So, I decided it was a great time to give this product by LifeCup, a 17 ounce stainless steel insulated travel mug, a try. It seemed a bit expensive at $18.99 for a basic thermos, but it was still worth buying in my opinion as long as it turned out to be insulated well. The product arrived on time and undamaged.

So, my first observation of this thermos is that it is heavier than I expected. It is really sturdy, and I definitely think it could survive a beating. That said, it does have a handle which is attached well but I would not beat it too hard for the handles sake. The handle is dark, matching the thermos in the picture (however mine was gold when it arrived) and bends down when it is not in use so it does not interfere with your ability to take a drink. It did also come with a cleaning brush, but that part is flimsy and cheap.  

Overall, I would rate this product a 4 out of 5 stars. The thermos is a great size; I love the handle which will make it easier to bring to the car. I did dock this a star because I am not convinced the handle is as sturdy as the rest of the cup. Other than that, I really don’t have any complaints about this cup. I do ding it a little for the cheap cleaning brush – either send a decent one, or just don’t include it. That would be a better option in my opinion. Would I pay nearly $20 for the product as a whole? Yeah, I think I would as long as it holds up as well as it has performed so far.
