I tried this bark collar on my one year old jack russell terrier that likes to alert me to everything! It didn't stop her from completely barking but it did help limit her barking a lot. I'm hoping with more time it will curb the urge to bark. I used the beep vibrations because I felt it was safer and more humane for her. I think it was effective!
