When I was given a chance to get these at a discount, I jumped at it because I am constantly looking for new oven mitts. It seems that they get accidentally burnt up or misplaced somewhere, and I can never find them when I need them. These looked especially nice with the non-slip feature, so I was really looking forward to trying them out. They are great! The silicone makes it so that hot pans are separated from your hands by an extra layer, and don’t get too hot to hold, even with prolonged contact. The no-slip silicone pattern allows you to hold both bowls and pans without fear of dropping them. The terrycloth lining is comfortable, unlike some others that I have used in the past, and the gloves are still easy to manipulate. They are large enough to be comfortably used by both the males and females in my family, and protect up to the wrists. The silicone pattern is on both sides of the glove, so they can be used on either hand without losing their benefits.
