I don’t know about anyone else but the lids on jars and bottles today feel like they are jackhammered on. I’ve never had so much trouble opening jars and bottles before. With difficult ones in the past, I would bang them on the counter or floor to loosen them up but that’s obviously not the best way to open things; so when I came across one of these Whole Caviar Multi-Function Openers I knew I had to give it a try.
I really like the rubber affixed on the sides of the Opener because they give me a firmer grip on it. It has a small handle but I think it would be functional for any size hands to use. This little gadget does make opening things much easier. These are especially helpful for the elderly or anyone who has trouble opening things due to loss of grip strength related to normal aging, arthritis or other ailments making it difficult to perform this function. My favorite thing is probably the help it gives me in opening the flip-top cans that are everywhere today. These type cans have routinely broken my fingernails...but no more.
