Solar Fountain Water Pump

My mother-in-law loves to garden.  Her backyard is full of plants, vegetables, birdbaths, and much more.  Other than the extreme heat, she really enjoys being outside in her gardens. It is hard to find gifts for people who enjoy this type of thing that doesn’t require some form of manual labor: more tools, seeds, etc.  When I saw this solar fountain water pump, I knew I had found a great gift that she will enjoy and liven up her garden even more.

Here are some of the really cool features of this product

- It is powered by the sun.  This is a great thing for Texas as there is no shortage of that any time soon.
- It has a battery backup.  On the rare occasion that it is cloudy here in Texas, the fountain has a battery backup that is powered by the extra solar energy it gathers throughout the day. It will work for over an hour without sunlight.
- There are four different sprinkler heads.  That way she can choose which one she likes more and change them out.  She really enjoyed this feature.
- Smart Water Pump.  The pump only works when water is present.  One thing you have to worry about in Texas is the evaporation. 
- Easy cleaning. You can detect the pump and clean it form all the various items that can get stuck and clog to the motor.

One of my favorite features of this Fountain is the smart pump and how it turns off, saves it lifespan by stopping when there is no water present. I have had water pumps burn out because I didn’t babysit it when the water ran out. Having this feature means that the pump will last for a very long time and keep providing a great view of the backyard.

My mother-in-law really likes this solar fountain and it gained me some extra brownie points by her and my wife.  This is a great purchase!
