This car has the bonus of being able to charge more than one type of phone. As the micro usb is phasing out as the popular charging port and the C is replacing it this charger gives you the opportunity to charge old and new type phones. That being said, this charger does not meet up to the demands of either phone. It charges slowly and you get a message on your phone that using this charger will take a much longer time to charge your phone. It also will not kekep your phone active (on) if you are on your last 10% and trying to use your phone wyile charging.. But if you just need a charger for emeregency purposes, this is the one for you. If it worked really well, my son would have already stolen it from my car to use in his car as he has a type C adapter on his phone. So the good thing is I still own it.
