Great sheets for teen boys

    I have been in need of new twin sheets for the boys for awhile. When my son saw this set, he begged me to get them for him. They match nothing in their room and I only got the one set (being a review item), so his brother and him have mismatched beds. But I obliged, allowing him to get the sheets he wanted so badly.   The set is navy blue with white polar bears on them. They are really cute. They look like they are warmer than they are, but they are not fleece. They are made of 100% microfiber polyester, so are warm, but not the same as fleece. This is a set - a flat sheet, fitted sheet, and pillowcase. They are deep pocket, so are a little big on my son's matress, but work fine for his needs. We have the straps underneath that secure the sheet and keep it from pulling free, so were able to pull it down and keep it in place. My son refuses to use a flat sheet on top of his bed, so that is now in the cabinet waiting for us to use for something else. I am sure it would make a great quilt backing, if I ever get back to quilting again. I would love to make a quilt top for my son and use this for the backing, that way it would match the bottom sheet and pillowcase. I may just do that at some point, if I can get the sewing machine set up somewhere to work and baby learns to leave it alone.   The actual dimensions of the sheets are as follows: - flat sheet 66"x96" - fitted sheet 39"x75", pocket depth 14 inches - pillowcase 20"x30"   Care is simple - machine wash cold, gentle cycle dry. Never use bleach on them, as they are dark sheets and you will ruin the color and print. They wash up super soft and cozy, so definitely wash them before putting them on your bed. They had a slight smell to them from the manufacturing process, but it washes away with the first washing.   This is a great set of sheets and works perfectly for a boy's room, though of course it could be used for any room. But with pre-teen boys, this is a great set for us.
