Decent feeler gauge set with some QC notes

The MUYI feeler gauge set arrived in a plastic sleeve that was tightly wrapped with bubble wrap.  Knowing it was secured in transit, the nut coming off most likely happened at the factory on the packaging line and should have been caught before it went out.  Thankfully all the gauges stayed in order due to the tight wrapping.  This photo was taken right after the bubble wrap was removed.

There are 32 blads total covering a wide range of gap sizes.  The blades are marked in both standard and metric sizes making it easy to find the one you need.  It includes a .010 brass gauge for use in situations near magnets (some motorcycles and older vehicles).  All of the blades were coated with an oil to prevent rust, however, this oil caused discoloration on the brass blade which you can see in the image below.  I wiped the brass blade off before taking the photo.

I bought this set at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.  I need it for my 3D printer and for doing tune-ups on my whole house generator.  On the 3D printer, it allows for a more consistent gap between the nozzle and the bed for better print quality.  And being metal it stands up to the heat of the nozzle (190 C to 245 C) and the bed (20 C to 70 C) as the level needs to be set when all the parts are at operating temperatures.  I'm still setting up and fine-tuning the printer.  I started with the .020 gauge and had some good results.

I'll test it on setting the spark plug gap this fall when I do an oil change and tune-up on the generator.  I do not have any other precision measuring device to verify the gauges are the thickness they are marked to be so I'm taking that at face value.  The lost star is due to the quality control issues of the loose nut and the discolored brass blade.
