Tea arrived damaged, I was refunded but never got a chance to try the tea.

I ordered this Yan Hou Tang jasmine tea and was really looking forward to trying it. I like the idea that it is sugar free and advertises that it helps promote weight loss, relaxation and stress reduction. I also was happy to see that it is FDA verified. Unfortunately, when the package arrived there was a large slit in the tea package. To make matters worse, another package in my mailbox was damaged and leaking. I was not able to sample the tea since the body wash I had ordered from another company had leaked into my mailbox and had soaked through the tea packaging through the slit. 

I do want to mention that the damaged package is not likely the fault of the seller since this item was fulfilled by Amazon and there is a large slit in the product packaging but the mailing package was intact. The item was obviously damaged prior to shipment. Unfortunatly, since the other product had leaked into the tea package, I was not able to try the tea at all. I would have liked to taste and smell the product as well as see if it was helpful in the areas of weight loss, relaxation and stress reduction. Unfortunatly, I had no desire to sample a product which had been soaked with body wash. 

I checked into product returns and found that this item cannot be returned. I then contacted Amazon support and was refunded for the tea, however I would have preferred a replacement so that I could try the product instead. Since it is impossible to give an accurate opinion of this product, I can only rate it as somewhere in the middle range. Perhaps I will try ordering it again in the future and update my review if I am able to give a more accurate opinion of the product.
