Long, thick, durable

I have wanted an apron for a long time, but have never taken the time to buy one for myself. I saw this and thought it was time to pick one up since the price was right for a review item. :-) I did not want something frilly and lacey. No girly girl aprons like grandma used to wear. I wanted functional and down to earth. When I cook I have no problem with making a mess and getting things on me. But when I bake I get in to it. I tend to end up with flour or powdered sugar on my shirt. I needed an apron to help protect me! This one fits me just fine, though my son did the modeling for the pictures you see. It has an adjustable neck and ties in the back. Even though I am not your trim little mama, this fits around me just fine. They give you plenty of room and lots of length to tie. It has pockets in the front in case you want to put something in them, though I am not sure what I'd have in my pocket since my cell phone sits on the counter while I am doing anything (half of the time with the recipe on it, also powdered with flour or baking materials). But it is there regardless. It is definitely long  enough to cover my clothing and I have no problem with working while wearing it. Unfortunately I keep forgetting to put it on when doing something. I always remember after the fact - when I have already gotten something on my clothing. It is hanging in the kitchen so you would think I would see it and remember to put it on, but I don't. One of these days I will remember, though. Little Miss has her 3rd birthday next month and I will be baking cupcakes for her like i do for all of my family. Maybe I will remember to wear it then! If not, it will definitely get its use during my holiday baking spree I do annually between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Great apron, seems like it will be easy to clean, thick and protective!
