Excellent for backing up iCloud.

Using my iCloud to back up all of my information was very convenient until I ran out of storage room, which meant no more backups unless I paid. Using this device I am able to back up all my contacts/photos/videos and it is extremely convenient. Sharing cellphone photos and videos through the cloud, messaging, or even other social media platforms can be very inconvenient due to network and wifi capabilities, if your network is slow sharing a video could take hours. But with this device you can easily access files on your phone, copy them and move them to your computer or vice versa from your computer to your phone.

I was worried that the software would outdated and not be compatible with my MacBook or iPhone, but it all works great! I am easily able to download full albums of photos from vacations, to work presentations and move them from iPad to MacBook to iPhone.

Not only is this convenient fro daily use, but it has save my butt multiple times when there is no cellular service or wifi. This is a very handy device and I would recommend it to anyone with an iPhone.
