This small unobtrusive device (about 3 inches long) looks like a keychain fob, but is actually a high-quality audio recorder. It records using WAV format (as you can see in my pictures) and can record up to 180 hours of voice quality before it is necessary to clean up the recorder. It will operate about 20 hours on a single charge. It charges using the included specialty USB cable. The cable also allows you to connect the device to your computer via USB. When attached to the computer, it acts as a flashdrive, so you can copy recordings from recorder to computer, delete recordings, etc. It also comes with plug-in earbuds and, when the earphones are plugged in it becomes a playback unit.
It is all metal, and has a keyloop on one end and a spring clip on the other. You can hang it from your keyring or purse or backpack of pants loops. It is built very sturdy and rugged and should stand everyday usage with no trouble. It should not become wet, however, as it is not moisture sealed.
