Last year, I put a large clay saucer of water in my garden. My hope was that visiting birds would enjoy it. The truth is that I never saw a single bird use it.

This year, I will try the clay saucer bird bath again. But, I am going to put this solar fountain in the saucer. I believe it will keep the water fresh longer and will attract the birds.

It’s too cold to put it out yet, but I did put the fountain together and try it out. After a minute or so under my desk lamp, the tiny motor started up.

The fountain comes with various heads for different sprays. And there are suction cups on the base to secure the fountain.
