I'll admit I was super skeptical at what a HoverBall would do. But I was surprised that this actually worked fairly well.
The ball requires 4 AA batteries-not included- to power the fans that make the ball hover on smooth surfaces. I will say the pictures on the box make it look like it will work in grass but it will not.
My huge gripe upon powering up the HoverBall was the super loud music that doesn't turn down or off. Also after 1 round of playing the foam on the side of the ball had some major dents in it.
My kiddos played with this toy for about 30 minutes and the plastic on the underside broke, making the toy unusable.
This toy requires you to wear shoes as it could hurt bare feet, however I can't see anyway for this not to break after playing with because it's not strong enough to handle shoes.
Its a cool idea but this model just can't withstand the play!
