~ What ~
With a white body, this security camera kit includes a monitor that has a built-in 180-degree lens that senses motion during day or night, WiFi/email alert capability, microphone with two-way audio, USB cable, mounting bracket with screws, and instructions. With night vision up to 32 feet, it can be used mainly indoors, records video and audio, and can be set to work only when there is movement. It links with the Danale online cloud services or can be used with an SD card (not included).

~ Why ~
Having used security cameras before, I like the shape of this one and that it can sync with my computer’s WiFi 2.4 Ghz router as so many on the market do not. It was by far the easiest camera I have ever linked to my Samsung Galaxy S8 and added to my desktop and computer. Since I am using this camera in a window to point outside when there is movement by a walkway, I was happy that it pans a wide range plus zooms in automatically and had a decent night video compared to others. Being able to secure it vertically on a table or fixed to a wall is appreciated. I opted for the free 30-day trial to use their cloud services which have a $5 monthly fee but can use the SD card only if needed.

~ Why Not ~
Some may find these units hard to set up as they can be complicated, but as I mentioned, this one was the fastest and easiest yet. The SD card is not included, and it is trickier to set up and view past files. The constant vibration or ring of the phone when there is movement may bother some owners.

~ Wish ~
I wish the videos could be sent to email from my phone – they probably can, but I cannot see that yet so may be able to do it from a desktop or laptop. I wish the camera also took 3 still-motion pictures when there is movement. I tried to go online through my desktop to order a one-year subscription for $49, but it would not accept the URL link.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for an indoor security camera that can be used on your Android, iPhone, or Windows computer, this is an excellent choice for the money because it is easier than all others to set up and is not too costly either.
